What the dates mean

The editorial date records a review of published sources. A field inspection needs its own named record. Access reports identify their source, date and review deadline. An owner confirmation is labelled as such and does not imply an official notice or a field inspection. A weather forecast does not establish access.

Before departure

Confirm the intended route and current access with the local professional responsible for your outing. Consult the official weather service, then agree how the day will be changed or cancelled if conditions are unsuitable.

What changed

  • Added the La Laura itinerary, route figures, explicit guide and rope requirements, original online GPX references and guide@pieterboth.org enquiries.

  • Added the milkman legend and separately attributed Bhojpuri variants. Updated the site to use the Pieter Both identity throughout.

  • Access updated to open following the site owner’s confirmation. No new field inspection is claimed. Added further licensed mountain photographs and an archival illustration.

  • First source review. Hiking and the final summit objective are distinguished. Current access remains unconfirmed.
